The idea of Transhumances Musicales was concieved in a hot and steaming hamam in the outskirts of Toulouse. The members had previously spent a magical afternoon sightreading pianoquartets and had their mind set on creating something special....
Many people have contributed, we can't possibly couldn't thank them all, but here are some of the core members.

SOLENNE BURGELIN

Solenne began her musical journey in Strasbourg, studying viola in Nantes before going to the music schools of Paris and Rotterdam, where she specialised in Argentinian tango, and finally in Cologne where she obtained a masters in baroque music (viola da gamba and viola).

Travelling Europe, as violist in Brabants Kammerorkest (Holland) and then in Kölner Kammerorchester (Germany), she finally settled in Toulouse in 2011 where she performs in many ensembles such as the Orchestre Nationale de Capitole de Toulouse, as well as co-founding chamber music ensembles such as Transhumances Musicales.

Solenne entame son parcours musical à Strasbourg, commence l'alto à Nantes avant de l’étudier dans les conservatoires de Paris puis de Rotterdam, où elle se spécialise en tango argentin, et enfin à Cologne où elle obtient un master de musique ancienne (viole et alto).

Sillonnant l’Europe, longtemps altiste du Brabants Kamerorkest (NL) puis du Kölner Kammerorchester (D), elle jette l'ancre à Toulouse en 2011 pour s'y produire au sein de divers ensembles de musique de chambre comme en orchestre national et co-fonde, entre autres, les Transhumances Musicales.
