For our final concert of August's travels we had the pleasure to be the guests of Marie-Brigitte Fontaine in the Chateau de Reviers with the association Tralalair.
Pour notre dernier concert en août nous avons eu le plaisir d'être les invités de Marie-Brigitte Fontaine dans le Chateau de Reviers dans le cadre de l'association Tralalair.
We made the most of her generous welcome for some rest and visiting the area. I especially appreciated seeing the beach as I knew that my grandfather had arrived there in 1944 under very different circumstances.
Nous avons profité de son acceuil pour se reposer un tout petit peu et faire un mini-halte tourisme. Personellement j'ai bien pensé à mon grand-père qui est arrive près de ce plage en 1944 dans des circonstances très differents.
But of course our priority was the concert and we really appreciated our attentive and interested audience. Although we were sad to say our farewells, in April we will all reunite so the adventure is certainly not over !
Mais bien sûr notre priorité c'était le concert et on a adoré l'écoute du public chaleureux. C'était un peu triste de se quitter mais nous allons reprendre en avril, l'aventure n'étant loin de terminé !
